Question: I am new to Arizona. What is that rustling sound in the gravel in my back and front yards at night? I know it's some kind of critter, but I REALLY would like to know exactly what is doing this. Please advise.

Answer:well you know all we can suggest is taking a look. Ifit's happening every night, then either something lives there, or has a nest there. So take a look durring the day. Are there holes (burrows) or nests in the bushes? Look for poop thats a good way to ID critters
If you don't get any clues, take a look at night with a light, shine a light at the bush, if the noise stops it's a critter on alert If not it could bea bug or lizard oblivious to you
Bring a camera with a flash, you might be able to poke the camera in and suprize it with a picture
